Well, according to a witnesses i talked to this afternoon, this attack occurred just behind me here in front of the recreation center. The two victims in this case are going to be ok, but police says its very unusual that a group of young people would attack two adults. According to the San Francisco police department, just after 7pm thursday evening a group of twenty juveniles were having a water fight. Here. Outside the palega recreation center. At some point the group may have gotten to close to another group that included Young Children. When the father of one of the Young Children tried to scold the juveniles, 8 of the kids attacked him and another man. Sotpoliced say one victim is 23yearsold and the other is 37. Following the attack, some of the juveniles actually stayed in the area. When police arrived, one of the victims pointed out his attacker. Sot investigators say that

It happened around 3 15 this morning in the area of 4th street and farmers lane. As the officer approached the car, the driver took off. A pursuit followed and the driver ended up at a dead end on diamond court. When an officer exited their car, the driver of the other car shifted into reverse and slammed into the police car. The driver has been identified as 44 year old jerry wilson. He has been booked into Sonoma County jail on multiple chargers. No report of any injuries. marty landing our top story this morning. Today we are going to talk about fire safety. We are here at the urban center on Mission Street in San Francisco. Its a wonderful display. A little house in the urban Center Exhibition center that shows what its like in a home in San Francisco after an earthquake. One of the major issues that we are going to face after earthquakes are fire hazard. We are happy to have the fire marshall join us today. Thank you. My pleasure. We talk about the San Francisco earthquake that was a fire that mostly devastated the city. How do we avoid that kind of problem. How can we reduce fire hazard . The construction was a lot different. We dont expect what we had then. We want to make sure with the gas heaters that the gas is shut off. If you shut it off you are going to have no hot water or heat. Be careful not to shut it off unless you smell gas. Absolutely because once you do shut it off you should have the Utility Company come in and turn it back on.
