On March 31, 2021, the media arm of a Gaza-based jihadi group released on its Telegram channel a poster promoting a fundraising campaign to equip fighters. The poster provided a Bitcoin address for donors who would like to pay in cryptocurrency, along with a Telegram bot address and a mail.com email address to contact the campaign organizers. The poster also cited Al-Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden as urging Muslims to help jihadis take back Palestine by joining the ranks of jihadis and through donations.
