Today in the bays kris sanchez joins us with details on why that plane went down in the first place and what the pilot was saying as the plane crashed. Its dramatic video. Its hard to believe the two people did survive and it is thanks in part to the friends who shot this video as it was happening off the coast of Half Moon Bay. Two planes were midair for a photo shoot when one plane lost power and while the pilot of that plane, david lesch, called in a may day, the other pilot kept rolling and circling the crash site and calling for help, not knowing at that point whether lesch and his passenger were okay. It turns out they were okay. This is them documenting what was happening on a waterproof phone to the relief of the pilot who watched that plane go wn. That fog is kind of hanging out in the portions of the Golden Gate Bridge the past hour or so and a resurgence of the fog the past hour or so.
