Asked me i never really asked myself exactly. What lead me to want to write a book because they are a pain in the neck to do. You need a level of passion about it. Usually what it is if i look back on it it is finding a person. An interesting person in an interesting situation and explore some interesting ideas. What almost always happens is i have a lot of little projects, magazine pieces, things i am investigating, it consumes me and i get to the point, this is such a good story i have an obligation to tell it. That is the point of the book, i have to do this, it should be done because it should be told.
