HIV/AIDS constitutes one of the most formidable challenges to development and social progress. The epidemic exacerbates inequality, and poverty, and imposes an increasing burden on the most vulnerable people in society. The Bangalore School Sports Foundation, established in 2009, helps bridge this gap and supports progressive development by creating active, value-based sports and recreational programs, as well as mobilising resources for children.
