27yearold antawn watson led officers on a high speed chase from pleasantville Atlantic City where he opened fire on officers. The video shows watson refusing to drop the weapon as the officers commanded. Instead he exchanged gunfire with seven Police Officers and an autopsy revealed watson suffered 45 gunshot wounds that he had pcp in his system at the time. The officers used the force found to be justified. None were charged. The Prosecutors Office released the video after new Jersey Supreme Court ruling this month that footage of Fatal Police Shootings should be released in most cases. Now an update on the investigation into a neighborhood dispute that resulted in the death of two people shot and killed last week in the citys frankford section. Tensions continue to run high as the admitted shooter has not been charged with any crime. And today the sons of the woman killed launched their own personal pursuit for justice. Chester mayor Thaddeus Kirk lapped responding to concerns from neighbors and Community Leaders all wanting to know why city officials have seemingly kept a low profile after an 11yearold boy was shot by a stray bullet while he sat inside his home over the weekend. The shooting comes as chester faces another round of gun violence. Its 20th homicide happened hours before the child was struck. We dont rush to the scene because theres some persons that like rushing to the scene and being seen and want to know where mayor and council are. The water has been turned off. Theres still quite a bit of damage in the roadway. See here that needs to be fixed. Couple of homes that have floods damage in the basement because of this water main break. Happened a little before 1 00 this morning. Frankford avenue meets up with tompson. The Philadelphia Water Department says this is an eight inch main that broke. That kind of main is not too large. It is enough to cause some problems here when they do break. Were also told about a dozen Properties Around here do not have Water Service because of this. The bigger impact to this entire area will be the closures, the road closures. The Water Department says theyll be coming back here to make those repairs. As we take another live look, see the police cars out here. Frankford avenue is closed from girard to tompson.
