MyaKay Bartman
JERSEY SHORE The Jersey Shore Lions’ Club Citizen of the Month for April is MyaKay Hope Bartman, daughter of Melinda and Rod Bartman of Jersey Shore.
MyaKay’s activities include Debate Team, Prom committee, one year; Field Hockey, Relay for Life, Science Olympiad, Cross Country, FBLA, Key Club and Renaissance Club, two years; Chorus, three years, and track, four years.
MyaKay has served as the Track and Field team captain during her 9th and 10th grade years, the Cross Country team captain during her senior year, and she is also the president of the Renaissance Club.
Outside of school, MyaKay is involved with the Transform Jersey Shore Program, Stone Farmhouse Cafe, Gamble Farm Inn/Park Pizza, Waltz Creamery, and her Church Outreach Program.
AUBREY SECHRIST
JERSEY SHORE The Jersey Shore Lions’ Club Citizen of the Month for May is Aubrey Blanche Sechrist, daughter of Tiffany and Mark Sechrist of Cogan Station.
Aubrey’s activities include the following: National Honor Society, Cross Country, one year; National English Honor Society, three years; soccer, track and field, Outdoor Club, Key Club, four years.
Aubrey has served as the captain of the varsity girls’ soccer team during her senior year of high school.
Outside of school, Aubrey is involved with volunteering as a travel referee for soccer games. She has helped to teach vacation Bible school, helped to paint the pawprints outside of the high school building, and helped with setting up and running fundraisers with the Key Club. She also works part-time at the Gamble Farm Inn.
HUNTER KELLEY
JERSEY SHORE The Jersey Shore Lions’ Club Citizen of the Month for February is Hunter Ross Kelley, son of Heather and Harry Kelley of Linden.
Hunter’s activities include indoor track and Key Club, one year; IT Club, two years; baseball, Constitutional Convention, Model UN, Class treasurer, cross country, three years; FBLA, National English Honor Society.
Hunter has served as the Class Treasurer for the class of 2021 during his 10th and 11th grade years, and is currently serving as Class Treasurer during his senior year. He is also the Treasurer for the Key Club and Treasurer for the National English Honor Society.
JOSEPH LORSON
JERSEY SHORE –The Jersey Shore Lions’ Club Citizen of the Month for January is Joseph Allen Lorson, son of Brenda and Shawn Lorson of Williamsport.
Joseph’s activities include Outdoor Club, basketball, one year; football, FBLA, National English Honor Society, four years. Outside of school, Joseph volunteers his time by altar serving at Immaculate Conception Church. He also works part-time at Jiffy Market and Dell throughout the summer and on the weekends during the school year.
Joseph placed third in the FBLA Regionals competition in Accounting 2, is a varsity football letterman, was named to the 2019 First team All-PHAC, and has been on the Distinguished Honor Roll every marking period throughout his high school career.
BENJAMIN REYNOLDS
JERSEY SHORE The Jersey Shore Lions’ Club Citizen of the Month for December is Benjamin Kyle Reynolds, son of Kelly and Robert Reynolds of Jersey Shore, Pa. Benjamin’s activities include the following for one year of District Band and Susquehanna Honors Band; for three years County Band; and four years of Jazz Band, Marching Band and Concert Band.
Ben currently serves as the Band President during his senior year of high school. He has also served as the Band Librarian during his 10th, 11th, and 12th grade years, while also being a Band Section Leader during both his junior and senior years.
