Reporter the car slammed into the elderly man as he crossed ft. Lee road monday morning. The man was thrown nearly 25 feet. This woman heard the crash. He tried to stop, i think. Thats why the stopping reporter she called 911, then ran out to help. The victim lying helpless on the ground. The car nowhere in sight. When i ran into him, luckily, he was conscious. Reporter the elderly man suffered six broken ribs, a broken clavicle, and a fractured hip. The driver was likely distracted. Also a key piece of evidence left behind.
