The State Board for Community Colleges has certified four finalists for the position of president at Patrick Henry Community College. The finalists were among 64 applicants from across the nation.
The four finalists, in alphabetical order, are Dr. Alessandro Anzalone of Tampa, Fla.; Dr. Jermaine Ford of Lafayette, La.; Dr. J. Gregory Hodges of Ridgeway; and Dr. Tanjula Petty of Pike Road, Ala.
it is almost ominous where the car halts right where this kid is standing. the kid ski dadles off-screen. then he starts to run because, well, because someone just tossed him a football. few seconds later, this cop is in the frame. then you realize, he is the one that threw the ball. he sends the kid keep. ominous, heck, it is just a game of catch. i got out and i think the universal sign that everyone knows for throwing a football. i held my hands up in a triangle form. reporter: the kid, 10-year-old jermaine ford. i thought that he was in trouble and i did something wrong. something snapped in his head and he s like, hey, this guy s here to play football with me. reporter: when the police department posted the video online, it drew a million hits within hours. people drawing the connection between a cop and kid who never even asked each other s names, until they met again for another catch. everyone that sees it has probably at one time thought they were that kid.
well, aside from an afc championship win for the denver broncos, sunday s game was a major comeback for quarterback peyton manning. a personal triumph for manning over an injury that could have ended his career. abc s ryan smith has more. reporter: a triumphant day for peyton manning and the denver broncos. not just for a win over tom brady and patriots but under pressure like this. a bad snap, bobble turns into another laser-beam pass for the four time mvp. two years after a neck injury nearly ended his career. after all i ve been through reporter: four surgeries later, his vertebrae fused together. surgeries like his limit mobility by 10% making plays like this all the more amazing. does it shock you that he s here in the first place? yeah, i mean, it is shocking that he is here. to think two years ago, that he wasn t even strong enough to throw a football to play. reporter: they are facing a young, hungry seattle seahawks. their quarterback, russell wil
