During that time span, he has seen the depressing, bunker-like walls occasionally sprayed with graffiti before it would be promptly painted over by the city.

By Drew Postey Weyburn’s Tenille Arts took home three 2020 Saskatchewan Music Awards this weekend. Arts won Country Artist of the Year, Single of the Year, with her song “Somebody Like That” which reached #9 in Canada on the Billboard Hot Country charts. Arts also won Album of the Year with “Love, Heartbreak, & Everything in Between”. The show was held online Sunday evening, and themed around ‘retro communication formats,’ with references to Windows 98, AOL chats, MySpace, and more, acknowledging the virtual communication that has become a part of our daily life during the COVID-19 pandemic, especially for artists and the music industry who have turned to livestreamed concerts, online conferences, and video co-writing as ways to stay creative and connected.
