It s never easy to break that kind of tragic news especially when children are losing their lives. Luckily, nobody was killed during this terrible shooting just hours away from our schools right here in Boise.

BOISE, Idaho (AP) A sixth-grade girl brought a gun to her Idaho middle school, shot and wounded two students and a custodian and then was disarmed by a teacher Thursday, authorities said.
The three victims were shot in their limbs and expected to survive, officials said at a news conference. Jefferson County Sheriff Steve Anderson says the girl pulled a handgun from her backpack and fired multiple rounds inside and outside Rigby Middle School in the small city of Rigby, about 95 miles (145 kilometers) southwest of Yellowstone National Park.

RIGBY, Idaho - A sixth-grade female student was taken into custody Thursday after bringing a gun to school in Idaho and shooting multiple people before being disarmed by a teacher, authorities said.
Officials said the student pulled the handgun from her backpack and fired multiple rounds inside and outside Rigby Middle School, located in a small city just outside of Idaho Falls. Two students and a custodian were wounded.
Jefferson County Sheriff Steve Anderson said all three victims were shot in their extremities and are expected to survive their injuries.

A shooting at an eastern Idaho middle school Thursday has injured two students and a custodian, and a male student has been taken into custody, authorities say.
The victims’ injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, Jefferson County Sheriff Steve Anderson said.
“Today we had the worst nightmare a school district could encounter. We had a school shooting here at Rigby Middle School,” Jefferson School District Superintendent Chad Martin said. “What we know so far is the shooter has been apprehended. There is no further threat to the students.”
