POLICE/FIRE REPORTS FOR APRIL 8, 2021 By John Smathers Apr 8, 2021 3:17 PM Central Fire Department responded to a report of a transformer fire Wednesday just before 9 pm. According to Jefferson County Fire Wire, the fire occurred at Punxsy Burger King along Hampton Ave. No further details have been released yet. State Police are seeking information on two 17-year-old males who reportedly escaped from a northern tier youth center on Wednesday. Troopers say the teens left the center around 6:45 pm in an unknown direction. They were last seen wearing shorts basketball shorts and t-shirts.
