Share Updated: 11:17 PM EDT May 26, 2021 WLKY Digital Team A teen boy was wounded when gunfire when off on I-265 in southern Jefferson County.According to the Louisville Metro Police Department, the shooting happened around 8:45 p.m. on the interstate near New Cut Road.While few details were released, investigators confirmed that officers found a 14-year-old boy who was shot while driving on the interstate. He was the only occupant in the vehicle, but police have not said why he was driving by himself.Officials said the boy was taken to University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.The LMPD s 3rd Division is handling the investigation.The circumstances surrounding the shooting are unknown.A
