NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - The 11 p.m. last call is officially over Wednesday for most bars across the state, except those in New Orleans.
âWhen we got shut down last March, we struggled that day to find the keys, to lock the front door and learn the alarm code because we donât ever shut down. I didnât have the keys,â Lisa Colby said.
Itâs been a whirlwind year for Colbyâs Cocktails. Owner Lisa Colby finally feels some much needed relief as sheâll be able to keep her doors open 24/7 once again.

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - When bars across the city closed Thursday at 11 p.m., they will remain closed until Ash Wednesday.
On what is normally the busiest weekend of the year for bar owners and staff, many are frustrated, but see no other option.
“Today’s weather is not helping out, but that’s par for the course for 2020,” Jeff O’Bryon said.
