We have seen all sorts of debris flowing by and i have talked to the chief of police out over in Atlantic Beach, jeff harvey, he tells me they are hunkered down, they cant go out because of the wind and surge that they are facing over there the fire chief telling me that the bay windows on his firehouse had been totally destroyed. So around that center you can see that intense rainfall and also some still gusty winds with the latest information still remaining at 75 Miles Per Hour. So, still a lot of gusty winds and, you know, very dangerous situation right center. Lets look away from that. These rain bands can be particularly dangerous as you have areas like this. I want to draw it like that because this is important to look at because really when you look at it on the radar you start seeing this rain moving really fast thats really because the rotation around the hurricane. But, notice, that entire band stays within the lines that i drew. That means repetitive rainfall over the same areas and thats where we are seeing incredible rainfall totals.
