People about really where we are and what is confronting us as a country. Two things. One, people were talking a lot about the different policies and different policy differences between themselves and other candidates. That is, health care policy, medicare for all versus a public option. It is different versions of the Green New Deal, different educational policies, policies about gun violence. What people were not saying to the American People, which to me is the overwhelming truth, is we have a broken government in washington, d. C. Until we take back that government from the corporations who have bought it, we are not going to get any of those policies. So step one has got to be to restore government of, by, and for the people, because until we do, we are not going to pass any of the things people are talking about, all of which are important to the American People.
