he won the mainstream media primary and the answer he lost the republican primary. and to kind of condense steve s answer here. jeb didn t fix it. as the new campaign slogan promising. that this is going to be a brand new jeb and he did come out swinging, he had more energy but when he said, thomas, that it is un-american to enforce immigration law, i think that lost a lot of conservatives and you saw that on twitter, on conservative blogs, that when jeb bush is suggesting to be here illegally is somehow american and to, you know, put police force enforce to enforce the laws, un-american, doesn t sit well for republican voters. bob, for the jeb bush performance and saw last night, obviously, doing the best he s done so far and now getting that endorsement from bob dole, is that enough to get the campaign i don t think the endorsement from bob dole means much at all.
