MONMOUTH A Monmouth College class is surveying non-profits in area counties to provide a comprehensive report on the status of available services and potential partnerships.
Students in Lori Walters-Kramer’s Small Group Communication class are required to complete a service learning project.
Working with Warren County United Way and Forefront an Illinois association representing non-profits and grant makers the students have developed a survey that will be sent this week to non-profit organizations in Knox, Warren, Henderson and Mercer counties.
“This is a project that helps the college students become more invested in Warren County and our region,” said Walters-Kramer, who also serves as chair of the Warren County United Way board. “Our focus is centered on doing a project that allowed students to gather information about local nonprofits that would be used by United Way
