Sad and difficult time for Longford family as fifth member of Dromard s renowned Creegan clan dies inside ten months Reporter: newsroom@longfordleader.ie Brothers Oliver, Pat, Michael, Johnny, Seamus and PJ Creegan, all of whom have passed to their eternal reward, five of them since June 2020. );   ); There was much sadness across north Longford and in Dromard on Tuesday, April 6, following the death of PJ Creegan, Crott, Moyne, the fifth member of the Creegan family to die since June 2020. In June of last year, Seamus (Athenry) passed to his eternal reward, followed by Pat (UK) in September, Johnny (Crott) in December, Oliver (Cavan) on April 1 and PJ (Crott), five days later, completing the reunion in heaven and leaving behind hearts that are heavy with the loss of so many in such a short space of time.

Tributes pour in for Dromard GAA stalwart Reporter:   ); The death occurred, peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family, on Thursday, April 1 of Oliver Creegan, Carrickane, Cavan Town, Cavan.   Predeceased by his brothers, Eugene, Mike, Seamus, Pat and Johnny and his sister Sarah, sympathy is extended to Oliver’s wife Patricia, sons and daughter Damian, Rhona, Fiacre & Fergal, brother PJ (Crott, Moyne), sisters Sr Mary Rose (Los Angeles), Sr Kathleen (Los Angeles), Jean Taafe (Legga), Tess Crowe (London), Eílish Reilly (Moyne), Belinda Kirwin (Dublin), Philomena Burke (London) & Helena Molphy (Dublin), daughters-in-law Kathleen, Geraldine & Aedamar, son-in-law Brendan, his adored grandchildren Aisling, Aran, Pauric, Luke, Dara, Eve, Rory, Cliodhna, Cathal, Aoife, Oliver & Alex, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, all his relatives, good neighbours & many, many friends.

th  peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. P.J. was predeceased by his parents James and Katie, his sister Sarah and his brothers Eugene, Michael, Seamus, Pat, Johnny and Oliver. P.J. will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, sisters Sr. Mary Rose (Los Angeles), Sr. Kathleen (Los Angeles), Tess Crowe (London), Philomena Burke (London), Belinda Kirwin (Dublin), Helena Molphy (Dublin), Eilish Reilly (Moyne) and Jean Taafe (Legga), sisters-in-law ,brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. P.J.’s funeral cortege will leave his residence on Friday at 10.30am to arrive at St.Mary’s Church Moyne (via Dromard GFC, Legga) for Mass of the Resurrection at 11.00am, interment afterwards in Colmcille Cemetery. Following government guidelines regarding public gatherings, the Mass will be restricted to 10 people only. The Mass will be streamed live please go to www.churchtv.ie and click on Moyne.
