We really lucked out with a dry wedge starting to move into our area. This has really cut those rain totals for some parts of south jersey, but the shore has not escaped the pounding. We see heavy rain for hours and hours now, more than 5 inches in some parts of our jersey shore line. And what were looking at now is the herriest bands fortunately are starting to get pushed offshore. But still a very steady rain that is continuing to fall and i think will for the next couple hours. We still have a little rain lingering at the shore line. This is light rain at best. So we have spot showers that will continue in the forecast especially along the shore through your morning and even your early afternoon. But the heaviest rain has now moved out. Lets take a wide view and you can see we are still tracking some heavier rain to the west of us, but that is looking to drop south.
