Jay and Silent Bob Reboot How you feel about these two characters probably says a lot about how old you were when
Clerks,
Mallrats and
Dogma came out. Kevin Smith has a particular sense of humour and for those familiar with his schtick,
Jay And Silent Bob Reboot is exactly what you expect it to be. It’s full of jokes about genitals, sly (and not so sly) winks to camera and big movie stars slumming it for their old friend. Matt Damon gets a few good down-the-barrel laughs and, while this is very low brow humour and extremely self-referential movie making, it hits home just enough times to please its target audience.
