Highway Patrol investigating serious crash in Marlboro Township

MARLBORO TWP. – Two people riding on a motorcycle were seriously injured Saturday after a car traveled left of center and struck the motorcycle head-on, the Ohio State Highway Patrol said.
The accident took place at 4:42 p.m. on State Road near state Route 44. A black 2012 Kia Sorento driven by a 17-year-old boy from Newton Falls went left of center and collided with a 2007 Harley Davidson FLHP driven by Jason Traczyk, 51, of Stow.
Both occupants of the motorcycle were ejected and came to rest on the side of the roadway, the patrol said. Motorcycle passenger Stephanie Richards, 50, sustained serious injuries and was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland. Traczyk was taken to Aultman Hospital with serious injuries.
