Behind me you can hear and somewhat see that there is still a lot of activity going on. Crews still hard at work trying to gather evidence, trying to get in there. But they are protect the by these tents and tarps the Sheriffs Office has put up. They have set that up out of respect for the victims and their families to keep it out of sight. They are also using those tents as an area to gather and sort through what they are getting here. They have put up tents and tarps to keep their workout of view. You get the feeling its for out of contribute for the victims and families. Now from abc7, live breaking news. It was quiet. It was heartbreaking. To get through what we were able to accomplish in twelve hours was a phenomenal feat. You can see it on her face and her voice. The battalion chief and the most seasoned firefighters with her out there can hardly believe what they are finding in oakland this morning n the last few minutes an update on the number of lives lost. And it is staggering. We now know 24 people are confirmed dead, up from ten last night. Officials say that number is likely to rise. Firefighters say they have searched through only onefifth of that warehouse. They plan to be there for at least a few more days to complete their search.
