through song and silence, students at the university of virginia paid tribute to a lacrosse player who was murdered. in the meantime, school officials are questioned about their knowledge of the man who s accused of killing her. tonight s vigil in charlottesville allows students the chance to grieve. it also led to a discussion of her death. the fact that any domestic violence should not be tolerated. aaron gilchrest joins us with more. airn? doreen some, powerful imagery here tonight. that was a central part of the message of tonight s vigil. some 3,000 students gathered here at uva to listen to the school s leaders tell them that they do not ever have to live in fear or in silence. and as a part of the message, it was woven into the grieving process, the death of yardley love. also part of that process, they hope will get started tonight, healing. they came in hushed masses, and as the stands of the ampitheater spilled, in song and tribute. we are here tonight t

and looking at george huguely. what we are told we actually learned from the daily press, newspaper here in charlottesville, that a certain much warrant was executed in the apartment of george huguely today and that they police were able to find a university of virginia lacrosse t-shirt with a red stain on it and a letter that was addressed to yeardley love. and they are going forward and gathering other information. they seized several other things from the apartment they think they will be able to use as evidence as they con to piece together their investigation and in the meantime, though, what s perhaps more important to the students at uva is that they are going to begin the process of trying to heal from all that s happened over the last few days from knowing that one of their fellow students has been murdered and knowing that one of their fellow students has been accused of that murder. vigil tonight will feature comments by the university president and by the stud
shahzad in times square with friends and family, just 100 yards from where he is accused of leaving an suv packed with explosives. his suburban life in connecticut as a financial analyst, husband, and father, didn t raise any red flags. but police now know he purchased a gun after returning from a trip to pakistan in february. it appears from some of his other activities, that he decided to put this plan in motion. shahzad already confessed he rigged up the bomb and told investigators he got training in pakistan. so far, u.s. officials have not verified that claim. while shahzad waits for his first hearing, authorities are trying to determine his motive and whether he had any help. what we are starting to see more and more, the unguided missiles. by that, i mean they are given some training in terrorism and told to go do something. fbi agents started watching shahzad late sunday after they figured out he recently bought the suv. police are now facing questions becau
