Case under murder charges has been registered against 9 persons and two, Narinderpal Singh, Jasmel Singh have been arrested BATHINDA: Two people were killed in an incident of violence ahead of the upcoming municipal elections in Punjab. Harminder Singh (45) and Jagdeep Singh (60) were allegedly run over by the husband of Congress candidate from ward number 9. The clash occurred late night on Tuesday. The supporters of Akali Dal candidate Kulwinder Kaur were campaigning for her when Congress candidate Paramjit Kaur s husband Narinderpal Singh and his supporters came and accused them of distributing liquor. Situation heated up when Harminder and Jagdeep were run over by the vehicle of Narinderpal Singh.
