The family of a student who died from alcohol poisoning while pledging a fraternity were awarded a nearly $3million settlement from Bowling Green State University.
Stone Foltz, 21, died in March last year after a brutal night of hazing at the Ohio university during which he was forced to down an entire liter bottle of Evan Williams bourbon.

He died March 7 - three nights after he was allegedly forced to drink an entire bottle of alcohol, about 40 shots, during a fraternity hazing ritual
The suit names the national Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity, local chapter and 20 individuals allegedly involved in the ritual
The student s parents are seeking at least $25,000 in compensatory and punitive damages
