New amenities at Nell E Robinson Park a win-win for community, local industry
A new look amenities block at Nell E Robinson Park is open and ready for community use after undergoing a major upgrade.
Toowoomba Regional Council (TRC) Environment and Community Committee Chair Councillor James O’Shea said the new amenities block would provide a better experience for users.
“Council is committed to ensuring that all members of our community have an opportunity to participate in sport and have equal access to our playing fields and sporting facilities,” Cr O’Shea said.
The new amenities block will give sporting groups, schools, personal trainers, residents and everyone else equal access to facilities regardless of ability or gender.

She was 59. Her death was announced in a statement by her husband, actor Danny Burstein. The cause was amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), a degenerative neurological disease that leads to paralysis. Ms. Luker was one of the leading figures of musical theater for 30 years, appearing in nine Broadway productions and many others off-Broadway and on stages across the country. Known for her clear, crystalline soprano voice, she recorded several albums and was a popular cabaret performer.
