I work in tax policy labor markets. One of the areas ive recently been focusing on is paid family leave. As im listening to the conversation i think you know generally talking about paid leave and child care and how we reform the existing system in the u. S. Is very important to the conversation that we have here. Ive also written about the system of child care, the Child Tax Credit, the you know, the system of tax credits that we have and how much of it is queued toward people at the top. How people with the benefits doesnt go to the people with the lower income. This is part of a larger discussion how do we reform child care how to we make it more accessible to people at the bottom.
