Rama Chandra prepares a garland with jasmine flowers for Janaki. Chikitha watches him and tells him that Jaanu is so lucky to have a husband like him.
Meanwhile, Jaanu struggles to drape the saree as she does not know how to drape it.
Jnanamba asks her daughter-in-law to come fast as the guests have already arrived. Rama gives flowers to his wife and asks her to deck up.
Janaki thanks Rama and asks him if he could get her phone to call Urmila. But, Jnanamba comes in between and takes her phone and asks Jaanu to get ready soon. Rama feels bad and gives his phone.
Jnanamba welcomes Rama Chandra and Janaki into the house. Later, Jnanamba advises Jaanu to be good to everyone and she suggests taking up the responsibility as the elder daughter in law of the family. Jnanamba brings Rama Chandra and Janaki to her house and asks Leelavathi how her daughter-in-law is. Leelavathi feels annoyed but tells that Jaanu is beautiful. Later, when family members enter the house, they are shocked by the overflowing water.
Jnanamba shouts at Mallika for leaving the tap open in the kitchen sink. Mallika gets offended and tells that it was not her. Jnanamba later orders everyone in the family to clean the house. Janaki is clueless and stands still while everyone is cleaning.

Jnanamba questions the priest about not informing her of taking Janaki for Gouri pooja. Later, Jnanamba offers Jaanu bangles and a sari as part of their tradition. After Jnanamba leaves their house, Jaanu questions about the lie Yogi told Janamba. Yogi covers up the situation by telling another lie.
Yogi phones Shravani and urges her not to come to Jaanu’s wedding. Shravani tells him that she will not attend but later decides to go to the wedding. Jnanamba calls everyone at their sweet shop and distributes sweets to them and teaches Lilavathi a lesson.

Shravani tells Jaanu to ask Rama about studying after the marriage. Janaki says that everything is happening too quickly and asks her to stop thinking about it. Meanwhile, Urmila calls Janaki to come outside as Jnanamba family members are waiting to see her.
The priest asks Janaki to see Rama Chandra. Janaki gets shocked after seeing Jnanamba and leaves from there. Everyone gets tensed seeing Jaanu’s behaviour. Jnanamba convinces Jaanu and apologises for being rude to her.
