The Pratibimb app, launched in November-December, led to the arrest of 454 cyber criminals in Jamtara, Deoghar, and Giridih areas of Jharkhand, resulting in a decline in cases from 31,228 to 24,264 between December 1-7 in 2023 and December 28-January 2024. The app identifies hotspots for cheating by impersonation, profile hacking, Aadhaar-enabled payment frauds, and UPI-related frauds among others.
