The Serious Fraud Office has announced it has reached a settlement with disgraced former MP Jamie-Lee Ross after inadvertently disclosing two documents to the defendants in the National Party donations case in May last year.
The SFO said it didn t become aware of the error until July 26 2020 when Ross, one of four defendants in the case, reported he had the documents and said he intended referring them to the House of Representatives and to take legal advice about releasing them publicly if that was unsuccessful.
