أعلن الجيش الصومالي، مقتل 50 عنصرا من حركة «الشباب» الإرهابية المتطرفة، في عمليات نفذها في الأجزاء الجنوبية والوسطى من البلاد، في الـ48 ساعة الأخيرة، وفقا لما ذكرته شبكة «روسيا اليوم» الإخبارية الروسية.
وقال التلفزيون الرسمي الصومالي، نقلا عن قادة عسكريين، إن العمليات وقعت في منطقة حيران الوسطى، وشبيلي الوسطى، ومقاطعة شبيلي الجنوبية الغربية بشكل منفصل.

The Financial Intelligence Unit of the UAE signed Sunday two MoUs with Somalia, Bangladesh (WAM) Dubai - Asharq Al-Awsat
The Financial Intelligence Unit of the United Arab Emirates (UAE FIU) signed on Sunday two separate Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with Bangladesh and Somalia to combat financial crimes. Our undertaking of these agreements with the Financial Reporting Center (FRC) of Somalia and the Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU) further reinstate our efforts to facilitate a robust exchange of knowledge and expertise in the areas of anti-money laundering and combating financing of terrorism, alongside leading international intelligence units,” said Ali Faisal Ba’Alawi, Head of the Financial Intelligence Unit for the UAE.
MOGADISHU, 6th June, 2021 (WAM) Mohammed Ahmed Othman Al Hammadi, UAE Ambassador to Somalia, has met with James Swan, United Nations Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Somalia, at the embassy’s headquarters in the capital, Mogadishu.
During the meeting, they discussed means to develop cooperation between the UAE and the UN Office in Somalia, the mechanism of joint action to support security and stability in the country, and a number of issues of common interest.
Al Hammadi extended his appreciation to the UN Envoy.
