So 50s in the north bay, upper 50s in the inland east bay, and the fog does clear throughout the midmorning hours. So by about 8 00 its still gray across the bay. But 10 00 we have sunshine. One resident saw the suspect. A search turned up explosive materials. Another neighbor, police say, reported that his home had been vandalized that night. And at least half a dozen cars had tires slashed. Most did not want to go on camera for fear of retaliation. They dont know who slashed tires and vandalized the home but they do tell us there has been a hong standing battle with novello over Parking Spaces on the street. The Fire Department says theyre aware of arrests and is working to investigate the matter. James novello owe is in a nonworking status. A Sacramento Man shot to death by police has filed a lawsu lawsuit. He says it shows police using unnecessary force. Police contend the 50yearold raised a knife at them. Two officers shot him several times. Attorney, john buress believes the man was emotionally unstable and police should have handled it with more care. It is clear when a person is mentally impaired you do not shout and give them commands. The approach is to be calm.
