They are calling it a potential security issue. This is what we know a hospital spokesman told me there was a specific and credible criminal threat against Kaiser Permanente oakland prompting an increased Police Presence to two of the medical buildings. I spoke with Oakland Police who at this time have not specified what the actual threat was or continues to be. They did say that they are working with the hospital to investigate.
