NORRISTOWN â A Norristown man faces charges he illegally transferred a gun to another borough man who then allegedly used the weapon to fatally shoot a third man in the borough.
Sincere Burnett, 20, of the 600 block of West Lafayette Street, was arraigned before District Court Judge Marc Alfarano on charges of unlawful transfer of a firearm, making false statements and carrying a firearm without a license in connection with his alleged âstraw purchaseâ activity involving the gun allegedly used by Hilton Freeman Jr. to kill Junior Pinnock on April 25 in Norristown.
Alfarano set Burnettâs bail at $500,000 cash, which Burnett failed to post and he was remanded to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility to await a June 7 preliminary hearing on the charges.
