Son still wanted, considered armed and dangerous Share Updated: 6:51 AM CST Mar 9, 2021 A Natchez mother has been arrested for preventing her child from being arrested in a 2020 shooting.On March 3, Natchez police arrested Caronda Washington, 41, for hindering prosecution in the first degree and aiding in the prevention of the arrest of her son, Cameron Washington, 20.On June 6, 2020, Natchez police responded to a report of shots fired at 601 Old Washington Road. Bullet holes were found in the front windshield of a 2004 Nissan in addition to other parts of the surrounding apartment building. NATCHEZ, Miss. (WLBT) - The Natchez Police Department is looking for a suspect in connection to a 2020 attempted murder investigation.
On June 6, 2020 officers responded to a report of shots fired on Old Washington Rd. Officers found damage to a parked 2004 Nissan in front of an apartment building with a possible bullet hole in the front windshield.
While officers were at the scene they were notified of two gunshot victims at Merit Health Natchez. One of the victims was treated locally and released. The other victim was transported to UMMC in Jackson.

On November 9, 2018 officers of the Natchez Police Department responded to 69 East Franklin Street
(Stew Pot), in reference to shots fired. Officers noticed a 2006 Honda crashed into the wall of the Stew Pot.
Officers discovered the vehicle had been shot several times. Tavonte White, 23, of Natchez and Alisha Justice,
21, of Missouri City, Texas, were killed in the incident.
On February 23, 2021 after extensive efforts the Investigative unit of the Natchez Police department
have made 2 arrest in the double homicide: Jameco Davis and Kendarrius Davis. Both suspects have been
charged with two (2) counts of murder. Currently there is no bond set.
