یہ 19 جولائی 1951 کی بات ہے جب انڈیا کے وزیر تعلیم مولانا ابوالکلام آزاد نے تہران سے وطن واپس جاتے ہوئے ایک دن کے لیے کراچی میں قیام کیا۔ اس قیام کے دوران انھوں نے پاکستان میں انڈیا کے ہائی کمشنر سے اپنی اس خواہش کا اظہار کیا کہ وہ بانی پاکستان محمد علی جناح کے مزار پر حاضری دینا اور فاتحہ پڑھنا چاہتے ہیں۔
