There will be no shortage of talent competing at Bryan High School early next week.
The unbeaten Golden Bearsâ girls basketball team hosts its annual tournament Monday and Tuesday as unbeaten Fairview, as well as one-loss teams Paulding and Stryker, will compete in the Image Pro Holiday Classic.
Paulding and Stryker will square off at 5 p.m. Monday, with Bryan and Fairview to follow at around 6:30 p.m. The winners will return Tuesday night to compete for the tournament championship, while the other two teams will play in the consolation game.
The combined record of the four teams is 22-2.
MONTPELIER â Paulding put on the full-court pressure against Montpelier â and the Locomotives felt it.
The Panthersâ pressure helped force 30 Montpelier turnovers and give Pauding a 64-43 nonconference girls basketball win over the Locos â Montpelierâs first loss of the season â on Monday at the Superior Athletic Complex.
