The victory, Kejriwal added, became even more significant given that the AAP had “shattered” the long-standing stronghold of the Congress party in Jalandhar, which had prevailed for the past 50-60 years, he said.
Amid tight security arrangements, voting for the Jalandhar parliamentary constituency began at 8 am and will continue till 6 pm, said officials.
