Covid-19 (Feb 14): 2,464 new cases, lowest since Jan 11 Published Modified14 Feb 2021, 11:29 am A - COVID-19 | The country reported 2,464 new cases of Covid-19 as of noon today, and seven deaths. This is the lowest number of new cases reported nationwide since Jan 11 (2,232) - two days before the second movement control order (MCO) was implemented. However, it must be noted that the Health Ministry had reduced testing on Jan 13, including not testing asymptomatic close contacts. This was due to the strain the Health Ministry was facing due to a high number of Covid-19 cases. The number of patients discharged today was 4,525, the highest on record.
