Vijayawada: Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy has announced that a committee with three ministers would be appointed for the effective implementation of Jagananna Saswatha Bhuraksha scheme. He advised officials to form these panels with ministers of municipal administration, panchayat raj and revenue departments.
Jagan held a review meeting on Panchayat Raj and rural development in the CM camp office at Tadepalli on Tuesday. He asked officials to construct village Secretariats, village clinics and digital libraries by year-end and render good service to people.

The officials told Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy that PPE kits were distributed to all green ambassadors and green guards. The Chief Minister directed the officials to focus on the maintenance of garbage collection vehicles and disposal of PPE kits. The Chief Minister said solid and liquid waste management systems in villages and towns should be carried out properly and Clean Andhra Pradesh would be possible only if municipal and panchayat raj departments work in coordination on it. He said to make arrangements to collect wet wastage in rural areas and added to display a special number in villages for collection and shifting of garbage to treatment plants.

Ensure 1.25 crore mandays arecreated by month-end, Collector tells officials
District Collector V. Vinay Chand has said that 3.91 lakh workers in the district will get work under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Guarantee Scheme (MNREGS). He called upon officials to ensure that 1.25 crore mandays (work days) were completed by June-end.
He held a review meeting on MNREGS, construction of secretariats and Rythu Bharosa Kendra (RBK) in the district on Friday.
He sought early completion of the works and directed digging of 200 irrigation borewells under the YSR Jala Kala. He also directed that the construction of RBK buildings should be completed by June 30 and YSR Wellness Clinics by July 31.
