Amaravati: Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has discussed with district collectors and SPs on the Covid situation and a wide range of other issues during the Spandana video conference.
Covid, MGNREGA Works, YSR Jala Kala, YSR Urban Clinics, Housing, Spandana grievances, and preparation for Kharif were among the major issues discussed during the meet held here on Tuesday.
Interacting with the officials the Chief Minister said that there came a situation where everyone had to live with Covid, even by witnessing tragic incidents. Recalling, the incident at RUIA Hospital was devastating, the Chief Minister said ‘No matter how hard we try, we also have to take responsibility for some things that are not in our hands.’ He said that the incident had occurred due to the oxygen shortage because of the untimely arrival of an oxygen tanker from Tamil Nadu and 11 people had died. The Chief Minister said 20 crore work days were allotted to Andhra Pradesh and a target is set to complete 16 crore work days by end of next month. To achieve the target, every district must complete one crore work days, he said and added that only 4.57 crore work days are completed till now and directed the officials to complete one crore work days by end of June.

AMARAVATI: Andhra Pradesh Government will launch CLAP (Clean Andhra Pradesh) Jagananna Swachha Sankalpam programme on July 8 marking the birth anniversary of former Chief Minister Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy.
During the review meeting held on Swachha Sankalpam, YSR Jala Kala, Jal Jeevan Mission, Jagananna Palle Velugu and construction roads in villages at camp officer here on Thursday, the Chief Minister said Sanitation at rural and urban areas is very important and directed the officials to ensure no sewage in the villages and added to focus on slums. Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh government has decided to launch ‘Clean Andhra Pradesh-Jagananna Swachh Sankalp’ on July 8 to mark the birth anniversary of late chief minister Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy.
