► Hyundai Motor Group luxe brand returns
► Line-up starts with G80 saloon and GV80 SUV
Posh Korean luxury brand Genesis has announced its official return to the European market. The company promises that customer service, a clear price structure and sharp design will win customers over, luring them away from the German premium-car establishment and Lexus.
Genesis says the launch will be phased, with Germany, Switzerland and UK being the first markets it enters. New studios – or dealerships to you and me – will open in Munich, Zurich and London with two new models to sell from day one, and more to come soon after.

► First variant of an existing car in Europe
► Coming in 2023 after Q6 e-Tron
Audi s expansion of its e-Tron range of electric cars isn t slowing down. It s introduced the new A6 e-Tron Concept, a preview of a new all-electric variant of the A6 saloon, coming into production reality in 2023.
It s the first EV from Audi that will be a variant of an existing production model in Europe (there s already a Q2 e-Tron in China), instead of using new nomenclature or as-yet unclaimed badges – like the e-Tron GT or new Q4 e-Tron.
Audi says the A6 e-Tron will be the second electric car to use its new PPE platform, co-developed with Porsche for mid-size and large EVs over the next decade, with the first being the new Q6 e-Tron SUV.
