In a statement on Monday, Maj. John Paul Belleza, the 9th Infantry Division spokesperson, said the gunfight lasted for 30 minutes and resulted in the killing of the still unidentified rebel and the recovery of two M16 rifles and a bandolier. Since you decided to surrender and return to the folds of the law, we will help you to avail of the benefits offered by our government once the needed documents are processed,” Apud told the couple during their meeting at the police provincial headquarters.
