Harrah’s Hoosier Park Racing & Casino played host to Hoosier Champions Night on Friday (Oct. 14) and the 15-race program provided a fitting conclusion to the 2022 Indiana Sires Stakes season.
Racing returned to Harrah’s Hoosier Park on Wednesday (Oct. 5) with a 14-race card loaded with Indiana Sire Stakes action. With Hoosier Champions looming just over a week away on Oct. 14, it was the last chance to earn valuable points to make it into the Indiana Sire Stakes Super Finals for the Indiana standouts.
On an evening that featured the world’s fastest Standardbred in Bulldog Hanover and a mare defeating males in one of Harrah’s Hoosier Park’s marquee events, the supporting card was far from disappointing as many of the sport’s brightest stars sparkled at the Anderson oval.
Harrah’s Hoosier Park hosted the penultimate leg of Indiana Sire Stakes for freshman trotters on Tuesday, Sept. 13. Three divisions for two-year-old trotting colts and two for trotting fillies highlighted the evening's 14-race card.
