BJP national general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya on Sunday launched a scathing retort on West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee after she erupted in anger faced with Jai Shri Ram’ slogans at an event in Victoria Memorial commemorating Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose’s birth anniversary.
Vijayvargiya, who is also BJP’s West Bengal in-charge, said that Mamata Banerjee is only interested in appeasing 30 percent of the voters in the state .

Trinamool Congress (TMC) Lok Sabha MP Nusrat Jahan on Saturday (January 23) strongly condemned the incident of crowd raising Jai Sri Ram slogans as West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee came to the stage to address an event which was held to commemorate the 125th bith anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose.
The sloganeering left CM Mamata Banerjee very upset and she refused to address the event.

On Saturday evening, during commemoration event of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose s 125th birth anniversary at Kolkata s Victoria Memorial, Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee erupted in anger at the crowd after she was faced with chants of Jai Shri Ram . Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar were also present at the event.

Mustafah The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Palakkad Municipality had egg on its face for the second time in a month when the party’s flag was found draped on a Mahatma Gandhi statue within the municipal office compound here on Monday morning.
It was not known who hoisted the BJP flag on the statue. The incident evoked sharp protests from the CPI(M), the Congress and their youth wings. Police removed the flag and began an inquiry into the incident.
