Virginia Rulli-Gibbs has cut her hair off to raise money for The Little Princess cancer charity.

A Worle pupil has had more than half of her metre-long hair cut off to raise money for The Little Princess cancer charity after learning about the devastating disease in school.
Virginia Rulli-Gibbs, a year nine student of Worle Community School Academy (WCSA), is raising hundreds of pounds for The Little Princess Trust.
The charity provides real-hair wigs to children across the UK who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment.
Virginia is passionate to make the world a better place - starting with helping charities. She then aims to embark on a legal career before becoming an MP, then Prime Minister one day.

Dozens of families viewed Worle Community School Academy (WCSA) at its latest open day.
The academy hosted its latest ‘into the light’ event for families to tour its facilities.
Students joined principal Jacqui Scott, leaders and teachers to show prospective students, parents and carers WCSA’s campus facilities.

This includes the £400,000 auditorium, performing arts stage, state-of-the-art toilets, sports hall improvements and spacious sporting areas.
Students also got the chance to enjoy the food and refreshments on offer at their restaurant.

An inspirational youngster walked more than 200 miles from Weston to Blackpool to raise money for charity.
Zak Swire walked 238 miles from one seaside town to another, staying in sub-zero tent temperatures to raise more than £2,220 for Macmillan Cancer Research and Trinity Hospice.
Zak, aged 12 and of Worle Community School Academy (WCSA) was with nine other people from his family for the six-day trip.
The year seven pupil was determined to do the whole journey to help raise money for his great uncle Kevin who had been diagnosed with terminal cancer.

Families are being invited to view Worle Community School Academy at its latest Into The Light event.
The tour on April 22 will give an open air insight into school life and a chance to view the school s campus facilities, including the £400,000 auditorium and sports hall improvements.
Prospective pupils, parents and carers can have guided tours between 4pm and 7pm.
Last autumn, the school held three highly popular Into The Light events and the parental demand has prompted another one after Easter.
Principal Jacqui Scott said: “It was so good to meet so many students, parents, carers and families in the autumn and we look forward to meeting more next month.
