reporter: according to bridge petroleum, the company leasing the oil rig off of the louisiana coast, they have moved in a flo till la of vessels to help the cleanup efforts. more than 30 vessels. some of those have the capacity to clean up the crude oil mix, which is the machine being seen out there on the gulf of mexico. under the water, officials are still trying to determine the extent of environmental damage. they are concerned about exactly how much oil may be coming from the well drilled under the water and whether or not that is spilling. if it is spilling into the gulf of mexico, at what rate? but there was also 700,000 barrels of diesel fuel on the platform, which sunk into the gulf of mexico yesterday. they are not exactly sure if that diesel fuel has already burned up, which is what we saw on flames over the last couple of days, or if that is still intact under water. they are still trying to assess that. that was the latest information we had from yesterday afte
