Police Looking for Inmate Who Escaped from Henry Co. Jail
HENRY COUNTY, Ind. Police in Henry County are looking for a man who escaped from jail.
Two inmates escaped Wednesday from the Henry County Jail. One of them was caught. The other, Jacob VanPelt, is still on the run.
VanPelt is white with blue eyes and brown hair.
Call 911 if you see him or know where he is.

ISP Pendleton is assisting the Henry County SD and the New Castle PD after 2 inmates escape. One suspect has been caught, however JACOB VANPELT is still at large.

NEW CASTLE, Ind. Authorities on Thursday were searching for an inmate who had escaped from the Henry County jail s transition center,
Indiana State Police, Henry County sheriff s deputies and New Castle police were involved in the search for Jacob Dean Vanpelt, 26,
Authorities said Vanpelt was one of two inmates who fled from the transition center, a minimum security facility at 1124 Broad St., about 9:35 p.m.
The other prisoner Blake Adrian Michael Tutrow, 21 was later captured at Forest Knoll apartments, 720 S. 15th St.
Vanpelt, of New Castle, last week was charged in Henry Circuit Court 1 with dealing in meth, dealing in a controlled substance, criminal recklessness, possession of cocaine, unlawful possession of a syringe and possession of marijuana.
