Dozen protesters in la trying to shut down traffic on the 101 tonight. And denver 7 has Team Coverage for you tonight. Adam is in downtown denver and liz went to a rally with the goal of healing the divide. Reporter adam is at the adam is at the State Capitol where hundreds are demanding change. Reporter thats right, they just left a little bit ago heading toward the interstate. You can see this a live picture beside me where theyre on the highway, and were hearing the Denver Police are getting in riot gear for the prop protesters. Love trump hates. Opponents of our 45th president are not holding back. Protests got loud overnight here in denver all against president elect donald trump. End there. Yes. This is a demonstration that happenved overnight in portland. That one turned into what Police Called a riot. But across the country. Including here in denver. The protests have largely remained peaceful. As people express their discontent. In denver the crowd got very large as it marched downtown. Blocks chanting slogans against trump. Happy veterans day. Theyre often the forgotten people on the front lines. Today we pay tribute to americas veterans. A local tradition is honoring those sacrifices for our country.
